We Make Zen Come Alive! From celebrating Buddha's birthday with the community to a camping trip in the summer for members and associates to a Harvest Potluck in the fall, the Victoria Zen Centre has many different events throughout the year. Saturday November 26th is our 2011 Harvest Potluck. This is an annual event where friends and family of the Victoria Zen Centre gather to celebrate our marvelous community in an evening of good food, good people and wonderful entertainment.
The Buddha’s Birthday Ceremony is a celebration of the birth of the historical Buddha – Siddhartha Gautama in 563 BCE. It is also an opportunity for Buddhist practitioners of all traditions to come together and celebrate the teachings of our founder.
