Tuesday Evening Zen Meditation - Victoria
When you are ready to get started, try Zen meditation at UVic! Everyone is welcome, and there is no cost. Please arrive fifteen to twenty minutes early for instruction on your first visit.
Co-sponsored by University of Victoria Multifaith Services and Zenwest, the Tuesday Evening Zen Meditation at the University of Victoria offers chanting, a Zen talk by Ven. Eshu, fifteen-minute periods of sitting, and walking meditation.
Location and Time
University of Victoria, Interfaith Chapel.
Every Tuesday evening:
- Zen practice from 7-8pm.
- Tea Circle and conversation from 8-9pm.
Please note, the Tuesday Zen Meditation evening is full most nights. To ensure that you have a cushion and place in the Zendo, please arrive by 6:45pm.
